MobileTrack on iOS not showing previous days steps

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
Noticed that recently unless I open Fitbit every day to sync my iPhone counted steps, they will not show up for previous days. The steps are recorded in Apple's Health app, but Fitbit doesn't want to read that previous data and update it's step count anymore.

Hi there @mdrummer88, good to see you around. Thank you for bring this issue to my attention. Once you set up MobileTrack, your phone tracks your steps regardless of whether you're logged into the app. Log in to the app when you want to see your progress, although it will be require to open the app so your phone's data automatically syncs with your Dashboard.

Make sure you are running the latest version of the app, which in iOS is 2.28. If you have updated the app recently I recommend to force quit the app:

1. Log out from your account and double tap the home button on your iOS device. Your open apps will show on your device's screen.
2. Close the Fitbit app by swiping the app image in an upward motion.
3. Reopen the Fitbit app and try again.

Hope this information helps. See you around.

I have the same issue. I've had this for a few weeks now with my iPhone 6S. All software is up to date.

The fitbit app used to sync back 7 days and no more, but as of today it only syncs today, not even 7 days of activity. It's a real shame as i don't log in every day!

@tristanscifo Welcome to the Fitbit Community! That is strange! I recommend doing the following:

  • Check if the Fitbit app is up to date.
  • Log out from the Fitbit app.
  • Reboot your phone.
  • Log back in to the Fitbit app.

Then, check if the data will show on your dashboard.

Try that out and let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy

I got it to start working for me again by deleting the app and reinstalling from the App Store.

I'm glad to read that uninstalling the app helped you to resolve the issues with the previous days information.

I'd like to invite you to the Discussions Board where you can share your thoughts and ideas to have a healthy life style and find other Fitbitters motivation.
