Since I updated my iPhone, instead of having an issue with no notifications, I’m getting 25 (literally) notifications for the same event at random times. Any tips to troubleshoot?

Hello and welcome to the Fitbit Community @Jennariccolo

I see your having difficulty receiving multiple notifications of the same event at random times. Because you used the term “event” I going to assume you mean calendar events. If it is indeed calendar events that are randomly coming in I can help you with that.
Here’s how:

open your Fitbit App

tap your profile picture on upper left

scroll down an tap your Fitbit Name (located just under “My Family”)

now scroll down and tap notifications

disable your calendar events

tap the word “Today” at the bottom

now sync your Fitbit app to activate

** This will stop the repeating calendar events coming to your Fitbit. Once the notifications issues have been fully addressed and resolved you can always come back later and enable the calendar events again.
As you are most likely aware of notifications are a known issue at this time and currently there is no timeframe that I’m aware of as to when the fix for notifications will be available. You can see the most updated information about the notifications issues here: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Stopped-seeing-notifications-after-updating-to-iOS-13/td-p/3...

😃 please let me know if I resolved your issue and if so would you kindly tap “choose as best answer” under my post? Doing so helps others who come to this community seeking answers to questions similar to your own. I’d really appreciate it!

I had the same issue, with random notifications coming in bursts. It became amazingly irritating, so I've disabled calendar notifications, hope you'll have a fix very soon

This isn’t a fix. I have alerts on my calendar events for a reason. I need them to come through to my watch to alert me of them, especially when my phone is in silent mode.

I have the same event, that happens daily at the same time coming up 25 times until it is time for the event to alert again, 24 hours later and then it switches to the most recent. It is distracting and annoying. I pray that a REAL fix comes out soon. For now I have turned off alerts for that specific event. But I need it back on ASAP.
