I see your having difficulty receiving multiple notifications of the same event at random times. Because you used the term “event” I going to assume you mean calendar events. If it is indeed calendar events that are randomly coming in I can help you with that.
Here’s how:
open your Fitbit App
tap your profile picture on upper left
scroll down an tap your Fitbit Name (located just under “My Family”)
now scroll down and tap notifications
disable your calendar events
tap the word “Today” at the bottom
now sync your Fitbit app to activate
** This will stop the repeating calendar events coming to your Fitbit. Once the notifications issues have been fully addressed and resolved you can always come back later and enable the calendar events again.
As you are most likely aware of notifications are a known issue at this time and currently there is no timeframe that I’m aware of as to when the fix for notifications will be available.
