Managed to get it to work after contacting Fitbit via Facebook page and they helped it was because it was Bluetooth connected to my old phone had to go to settings in the old phone and disconnec the Fitbit so it could connect on the new phone.  Can only be Bluetooth synced to one device! Hope it helps for you.

So I was playing with mine (got blaze but maybe it will help you) and finally connected it... I removed it from my FitBit app first, then went to settings, (make sure you click on ADD your Fitbit in the app at this time), then pair ON and then it popped up a code... first time I missed it so I started again from setting on Blaze, the pair ON got the cod e, keyed the code in phone and voila... works for now! We'll see in 2 days if it's syncing again lol

Mine will ask for the code from the tracker, but when I add it to my phone it just searches and never pairs.

Hello @Skyjokona@jjet@CSMret and @SillySly, it's great to have you on board, welcome to the Community!

@jjet and @SillySly, thank you so much for taking the time to update the status of your situation, I'm very glad your trackers are now syncing correctly.

@Skyjokona, and @CSMret, If your trackers are not syncing correclty I would like to suggest checking @HelenaFitbit's excellent tips and recommendations that have proven to be very helpful for many people in the exact same situation. However, in case these tips don't seem to do the trick, let's try setting your trackers as new devices in your account to reset their connection:

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  2. Restart your mobile device.
  3. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  4. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  5. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you please keep me posted! Smiley Wink

@Kelly051 I'd first recommend verifying that you are using version 2.32 of the Fitbit App that was released yesterday. Click here to update if you haven't already. Then I'd recommend:

1. Restarting your tracker.

2. Rebooting your iOS device.

3. Opening your iOS settings > turn off Bluetooth for 10 seconds > and then turning it back on.

4. Opening the Fitbit App to initiate a sync.

Yes and they actually replaced my fit bit and now I'm trying again and it just won't work

Yeah mine either. It suddenly decided it had this issue after I came back from holiday, and wouldn't connect to either of my phones. It half connected in the end (the data was all messed up in the app), and I've just tried to sort that, and the bugger won't reconnect - I've tried everything!

Annoying!

One thing I found out was that it could not be paired with any other device to be able to work. I had paired mine to my iPad as well as my iPhone 7. When I deleted it from the iPad, I had no more issues.

Hello @LaurenLondon and @Skyjokona, it's nice to see you around, I hope you're having a great day. It's a pleasure for me to welcome you to the Fitbit Community @MargaretBSmiley Happy

@Skyjokona, thank for letting me know about the steps you performed in order for your tracker to start syncing again, I'm sure they will be helpful to many members in the Community facing the same situation.

@MargaretB and @LaurenLondon, have you tried the steps provided on my previous post? If so, please try to restart your tracker once again and go to the Bluetooth settings of your phone. In here, check if your tracker is listed under paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forger this Device, then restart your phone. After that, open the Fitbit app and try to sync again.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted.

I've also had this problem ever since I switched to iPhone 7. I have tried all the remedies you prescribed and they work initially, then it goes back to being stubborn about syncing. I just tried this last remedy of restarting the device, forgetting the device in Bluetooth, restarting the phone, then opening the app and syncing. This worked - but let's see if it sticks. Maybe fitbit needs to work this bug out with an update since it seems to affect so many.
