Why can’t I get WhatsApp or messenger notification from my iPhone on my Fitbit

On the fitbit app, click on the circle in the upper left, click on your device, then click on notifications and see if WhatsApp and messenger are enabled. 
Also go into the WhatsApp and Messenger under Notifications and ensure they are enabled.
