My Flex won't sync since I updated in the app store

I updated the fitbit app via the app store and now my fitbit won't sync with my iphone or laptop.  It just says "looking" continously

I'm having the same problem. I tried to reinstall the app and delete the current device but now it won't add it back because I can't get it to connect. It has been like this for a couple days since the update also.

I'm having the same issue. I can't sync my Fitbit and my phone/app can't detect it. I just emailed support.

In this case I would like to recommend @HelenaFitbit's excellent tips, that have been proven very helpful for many members dealing with syncing issues. If that doesn't do the trick, I would suggest setting up your tracker as a new device in your account to reset the connection between your devices.

 

To set it up:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  2. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  3. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.

In case your tracker is still not syncing, contact our Support Team; let them know the steps you've performed so far, I'm positive they will be happy to assist you further to get you back on track. Smiley Wink
