My iOS app doesn't register steps. I do not have a Fitbit Watch.

Hello everyone. First post here.

I had the impression that if I downloaded the FitBit app, it would count my steps without the need of a FitBit Watch. My friend downloaded the FitBit, and she has steps on her phone (iPhone 6). I have a iPhone 6s Plus, and my phone reads 0 steps for all last week. I looked under settings, restarted my phone. Am I missing something? Can anyone help? Thanks.

Hello @mynameisnano,

Welcome to the community!

In order for your phone to register steps, you'll need to enable it as a tracker.  This feature is called MobileTrack.  Just follow the link to enable it.

I hope this helps.
