Hi there,
I am new to the community, having just got my fitbit in the past couple of days.
Before purchasing, I knew that I would find it frustrating that I wouldn't be able to track netball (given that you aren't allowed to wear any form of jewellery or watch during a netball match), however I had been told I could get around this by logging the activity manually.
Unfortunately, netball is not included as an option in your activity log list - so I decided to manually add the activity based on research that included estimates of cals burnt and distance covered in an average 60 minute match. However, when I added the activity (including all necessary details such as start time, distance, calories, duration etc.) the calories burnt or even an estimate of steps is not added to my dashboard. The only thing that changes is the 'number of active minutes'.
Is there any way to ensure that manually logged activities are included in your daily stats? Or even better, is there any way that netball could be added to your existing list of activities?!
Thanks,
Melissa

It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community @MelissaWood. Your custom activity should give you calories burnt and active minutes. To make sure that manually logged activities are included in your daily stats you can check the Activity tab. I would recommend logging it once again and provide me with a screen shot of it for further investigation.
On another note, you are welcome to participate in the Feature Request forum about adding netball as part of the list of activities.
Looking forward to your new comments.

I'm having the same issue. My calories came up as 13! I'm hoping I burnt more than that!!

I play netball too and read somewhere about puting your Fitbit in your underwire! This works well. I had a Fitbit Alta HR and have just upgraded to a Versa and was very happy with what it recorded. Would love a specific netball activity tracker though.
