Since Fitbit app auto-updated to 3.32.1 on my iPhone 11pro, it will not detect my device. Have uninstalled, redownloaded and reinstalled: still will not detect my Charge 3.
I had the same problem and after combing through all the official ways to fix this and having none of them work, all I did was the following in the iPhone Fitbit mobile app :
Click on your profile pic in the top left-hand corner
Clicked on "+ Set Up a Device"
I didn't remove my device. I didn't want to lose my unsynched data. It asked me if I wanted to replace Charge 2 because I already had one connected to my account. I choose the banner at the bottom that said "Replace Your Fitbit Charge 2".
Went through all the introductory steps and then it was synced again. All my data from my Fitbit was uploaded perfectly.
Thank you for sharing! I tried it, on two different iphone 11's and it still doesn't work. tried rebooting, cycling bluetooth on and off as well. The app says it sees my fitbit, but it hangs in the connecting step. I left it overnight, and it was still going this morning. Very disappointed this did not work.
Same problem here, however synch does work on my MacBook and iPhone XR. But unable to sync with iPad 11” (always has) don’t really use other devices to check steps, miles, etc. Frustrating reset idea didn’t work either. Might be a Bluetooth issue on Fitbit’s end we’re not alone looking at product boards, but phone is working and data updates to iPad after sync.
