The new dashboard is okay, except the one thing that i really miss is 'cals left' and/or 'cals over' in the 'food' section. Not only did it show the amount of calories that i logged in MyFitnessPal, but it also showed some kind of prediction if i was on schedule compared with what i was going to burn that day (including rest cals) without adding a calorie goal. It was my most used and most loved feature and i can't seem to bring it back.
Can anyone help with this?

Yes, we need this back!!! This was the only thing I used the app for too.
How am I supposed to know how many calories I should eat in a day if it does not take in to account the remaining calories that my body will burn every hour regardless if I will be exercising or not?! The UX team does not seem to have basic knowledge of nutrition...

Hi Ricardo @RicardoFitbit Thanks, but your reply is a bit general and it doesn’t answer my question. I’ve already checked the article you are referring to but I can’t find anything useful about bringing back this functionality.

@RicardoFitbit You need to show how many calories will be burnt in the day in total! Like you did before...
How is it possible to eat the correct amount otherwise?! Mindboggling...

Exactly! This is what i use to maintain my current weight. @RicardoFitbit can you give us an update about this?

Hello again, it's a pleasure to continue providing assistance, sorry for the delay in replying. Thanks for your replies @RichardEk and @Merveilleuses.
I appreciate all the information and details that were shared in your posts, totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for each of you. To better assist you guys with this, please give me more details about the operating system used, the model of the mobile device you're using to sync your Fitbit devices and if possible, a screenshot of the calories tile from the new dashboard design, which in this case is a little apple. You can refer to this post to send me the screenshot.
Please note that if the calories left amount isn't shown below the apple, you can tap on the actual tile to check the calories left information.
Please keep me posted.

Hi @RicardoFitbit - thanks for the comprehensive answer. I’m using an iPhone 7 with iOS 12.3.1 to sync my Fitbit Charge 3 device with. I’ve added a screenshot of the app and in addition what i see when I click on the apple (food) tile. This view hasn’t changed since the launch of the new app. The 1457 cals are logged with MyFitnessPal. The 564 cals are what i’ve burned so far, i can see them on my dashboard and watch as well. But what i miss on the dashboard is what i’m going to burn in total during the day, like @RichardEk pointed out with a screenshot of the old dashboard. Hope this makes it clear!

Thanks for your reply and update @Merveilleuses, my apologies for the delay in responding.
I appreciate the screenshot that was attached in your post and for the information that was shared. To move forward with this situation, can you please let me know if after the last Fitbit app update you're unable to see the calories left amount? This should be rectified after updating the app.
Looking forward to your reply.

I also was very upset with this change. It made the app pretty useless to me, since that “estimated calories remaining” has been the main thing helping me maintain my weight for 2 years.
I discovered a workaround. Go to your weight goal instead of your calorie goal. Make your weight goal the same as your current weight, press next until you’ve finished “setting up” the weight goal. The app puts you on maintenance. Now you will have “estimated calories left” just like before.
I hope this helps some of those of you in the same boat as me.
