New dashboard sleep not correct

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
Tracking sleep isn't working in the new dashboard anymore. The sleep time shows for the current day, and if you cycle back through previous days, the corrected sleep time for those days are not showing. If I switch to the old dashboard, the correct times show of each day. This functionality stopped working with the latest update.

It's great to see you around @GreetingProgram, hope you're doing good today my friend Smiley Very Happy! Hmmm..very strange let me say, I haven't heard this before.

However, I'd recommend trying the following steps:

  • Make sure that your Fitbit App is up-to-date
  • Log out of your Fitbit App
  • Force quit the App
  • Turn off the Bluetooth
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes
  • Turn on the Bluetooth
  • Log back into your Fitbit App

Let me know if this works for you!

I have the same problem as @GreetingProgram on my iPhone. With the new dashboard the only stats that change when I change the day are floors, miles, cals and minutes. Sleep, 250+ steps per hour or weekly exercise always show today's value, even when I look at stats from previous days.

This was the reason I had not switched to the new dashboard before, and I expected it was just a bug in the beta, but the new dashboard got released with this flaw.

Tried to follow the steps indicated, no improvement after login out, turning off BT, shutting down the phone, waiting 5mn, ...

@ChargHRUser  That is how the new dashboard in the app works.  You can read more about it Here

This is not an improvement. Why did they do this? I don't want to spend additional time drilling down into the history in order to track my sleep. If it's in the history, they should be able to link that information to the tiles.

Having the same issue on the Android app (thank goodness for Google as I couldn't find this answer in the home forum). This is awful design. Awful!

Hello @DLF-PDX, it's nice to see you around. Welcome to the Community @MichaelTanelSmiley Happy

We really appreciate our members's input and feedback and I would like to thank you for yours. Our team is always looking to improve the Fitbit experience and I've found a suggested idea from @Lkpalmer to keep the previos design for the iOS Dashboard. @MichaelTanel, for Android you can check @Poo's suggested idea. I would like to encourage you to comment and vote for them, this is the best way to make your voice heard.

I'll be around, keep me posted if you need anything else!

I'm not seeing the suggested idea from Lkpalmet when I use your link -- only her expression of frustration. Thank you for trying to help, though.

I should have been more precise. The links worked, but they didn't take me to the solution -- just a bunch of comments that I didn't have time to wade through.

Hi there @DLF-PDX, thank you for providing us more details. For this, as @Kmransom123 mentioned before, this is how it works the new Dashboard.

With the new Dashboard the functionality focus, in providing a swift access to your daily data. Navigating though previous dates it will affect only the main stats and for the other tiles like Sleep, is require to access individually to see more details.

At the moment still is possible to go back to the old Dashboard if you feel these new options are not the best for you. Go to your Account Tab >> Access the Advanced Settings >> Switch back to the old Dashboard.

See you around and hope this helps.
