I am having the same issue... The dashboard for previous days displays the sleep time and 250 steps for today. If you click on the tile, all the data is available.

Welcome to the Community @Hesser1969!

Hmm this is pretty odd let me help you out, try logging out the app - reboot your mobile device - log back in.

If the issue persists you can still using your old Dashboard by going to Account - Advanced Settings - New Dashboard On/Off.

Let me know how it goes!

I am fed up with the new dashboard! I have lost the 250 steps an hour and my sleep time shows the same time everyday. Also, my Fitbit charge is falling apart. Unlikely to buy another Fitbit product and won't recommend to others.

I just went back to the old dashboard and everything shows correctly. Only problem, the old dashboard will soon be a thing of the past...it is so much easier to look at than new dashboard!! Please keep it!

@Kitty9 Welcome to our Community! While the Dashboard is being released for the users of the Fitbit app you can vote to keep this dashboard as an option. The more votes an idea has in our Feature Request board the more likely that the developers will try to implement the idea.

I'm having the same problem with the new dashboard. When I go back to previous days, the bottom 4 tiles (sleep, weekly excercise, steps per hour, and weight) always show today's data. I tried logging out and rebooting as suggested, and also tried restarting my Fitbit. Neither suggestion worked.

I like the new dashboard, but this problem makes me want to go back to the old one. And I just discovered that option has disappeared! Please either fix this issue or allow us to choose the old dashboard.

I would like the old dashboard as an option.

@meligator @Emkaywood Welcome to our Community!

@meligator Currently you will only see today's information on the main Dashboard, this is how it is intended. To see the previous day data you need to tap the stat you want to see.

@meligator @Emkaywood Please vote for the suggestion to have the old Dashboard as an option that I shared on my previous post.

If you click the back arrow at the top of the dashboard (old or new), the dashboard shows the previous day's info. The dashboard will say "Yesterday" at the top. You can keep scrolling back to earlier days by clicking the back arrow. The problem with the new dashboard is that when you click the back arrow, it shows the previous day's info for the tiles at the top and the current day's info for the tiles at the bottom. That's definitely not intended.

Unfortunately--this is working as FitBit intends.  I've read several complaints from users here (and posted some myself) about the new dashboard not showing all the previous day's data when looking at stats for the previous day.  And the answer from anyone at FitBit always boils down to--"that's the way it's supposed to work--to see previous day's data for the lower tiles, you have to open them up."

I have no idea why the powers that be at FitBit insist that this behaviour is desirable--when I look at a previous day's data, I want to see all of the data for that day, not a mix of data for that day and today!

I really do hope that this changes in the future--for now, I'm keeping the old dashboard and not allowing my app to update, so that the data being displayed is consistent.

Wow! Mixing current and previous data on the same screen is just an incredibly bad design!! And there's nothing in the UI to indicate that it's intentional. When the top of the screen says "Yesterday" (and there are no other date indicators on the screen), most users would expect to see yesterday's data! It never occurred to me that the behavior was by design. I assumed it was a bug that would get fixed. So sorry that I didn't think to block the update!

@dordale @meligator @Kitty9 If you have already updated your app you won't be able to go back to the old Dashboard but please vote for the idea I mentioned so the developers know that you want this option enabled on the app.

Thanks Alvaro--I've already voted.  Wish I could vote a few more times to help bring it to the developers' attention!

@dordale Hahaha you are not the only one. There are some suggestions I would like to see released myself and I wish they had more votes but you are not alone and hopefully the developers will work on an option for everyone using the app.

Showing today's data when you go back to previous days isn't just unintuitive. It also loses some of the "gamification" factor. When I met all of my goals for a day, I used to like to go back to that day the next morning and see my "perfect day". It was motivating. "I did it yesterday. I can do it again today!" I miss being able to do that SO much!

It's nice to see you here @meligator! Beginning with version 2.26 of the Fitbit app for iOS, the new Fitbit app dashboard is fully implemented. You can no longer return to the old design.

The new dashboard design highlights your daily progress in a new daily stats tile. You’ll see your activity stats, such as floors, miles, calories, and active minutes in a new tile. You can tap each stat to see more detail and your history. Additionally, the other tiles have a new look and contain more detailed information if you tap each tile.

User-added image

The tiles below the daily stats tile show your most recent information, even if you're looking at your stats for another day. To view your stats for a previous day, tap the individual tiles to see your history (as has been mentioned here).

To change the tiles you see on your dashboard, in the Fitbit app for iOS tap Edit, or in the Fitbit app for Windows 10 tap or click the pencil icon.

Note: You must have iOS 9 or greater installed on your iOS mobile device to edit your dashboard.

Even when you can no longer return to the old design, you can turn on or off the new dashboard design in the Fitbit app for Windows 10:

  1. On the dashboard, open the Account tab.
  2. Tap Advanced Settings.
  3. Turn on or turn off Preview New Dashboard.

In the Fitbit app for Windows 10 you can continue using the existing dashboard design for the time being. Over the next few months, the old design will no longer be available and the new design will become permanent.

Have a great day!
