Yes I’ve lost the ability to connect my iPhone to my Fitbit One. I keep getting a message to connect to

Bluetooth even though it’s on. I’ve restarted my Fitbit, my phone and Bluetooth, all to no avail. Not sure what else to do.

Hello @dkandthekids@ManhattanSteve and @IzzyE

I see your all having trouble connecting your Bluetooth. First let’s see if your device is compatible with the new Fitbit Update. You can check for compatibly here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2315/?q=Compatible&l=en_US&fs=Search&pn=1

If your device is indeed compatible then try logging out of your Fitbit app then force shutting the app by swiping up. Then shut down your device completely. Wait about 1-2 mins then restart your device and log back into your Fitbit App as you normally would and see if that does indeed resolve your issue.

If you find it does not then I would suggest completely uninstalling the Fitbit app, restart your device then head to the App Store and reinstall it. Once its downloaded just again sign in as you normally would with your email address and password. Then don’t touch nothing....wait for Bluetooth to prompt a pairing (this doesn’t take too long) and of course say “always”.
😃 Please let me know if this does indeed resolve your syncing issue.

Nope. None of those fixes worked. Still not syncing or recognizing that
Bluetooth is on.

Looking at other forums, it appears that the One may be obsolete now.

Hello.
I’ve done all, twice! Still no luck 😰
For the latest IOS on iPhone 11Pro and the latest 3.7 version of the Fitbit app on my phone. After all this installings and pairings etc phone calls are now working on my Fitbit but not the sms notifications. Very weird!!! Neither of the new iPhone 11ths are on the compatible list of phones.

Hello @IzzyE

Yes this is quite odd you were able to get the Fitbit App to somewhat work with the app since you say your device is not compatible. I say somewhat because I can’t promise you everything will work perfectly. As far as your notifications issues let’s set this up properly to see if that helps that. Do this:

First open your Fitbit app

Tap your profile picture in upper left

scroll down to the name of your Fitbit and tap it (It’s located just under “My Family”

scroll down and tap notifications

enable the notifications you want in green

now simply tap “today” at the bottom of your screen to get back to the main page

Now lets make sure your iOS device is set up correctly:

go to:

device iOS settings>location services >Fitbit>Always on

also Go to:

iOS setting>Fitbit>Location>Always on

also go to:

iOS settings >notifications >messages>Select always under show previews

Now Go to your Bluetooth:

  1. Tap the "i" icon next to the name of your Fitbit device
  2. Turn on the Share System Notifications.

😃please get back to me to let me know if this solves your notifications issue.

My IPhone 7 will not find my Fitbit Charge 2 via Bluetooth. I’ve done all the things suggested below and all the other things recommended on the web many times, which seems to have made the issue worse not better.  I try and force the app to find Bluetooth by turning all day sync on, but the pairing box pops up and as soon as I press set up, it just goes back to being greyed out, it says “looking” - but nothing happens no matter how long I leave it.

I’ve deleted the App, deleted the Fitbit and tried to add as a new device, but it won’t find it to complete set up

is this an Apple IOS problem or a Fitbit problem?  My phone finds any other Bluetooth device I try to connect to it.

Notifications haven’t worked for weeks

Hello @AnnetteZ

Im sorry to read your still having trouble even after all the troubleshooting you have tried to solve the issue. I did look up your iPhone to insure that it is compatible with the new Fitbit App and I found that it indeed was compatible. I think at this point your best recourse would be to call Fitbit Customer Service. You can find different ways to contact them here: https://help.fitbit.com/?l=en_US&cu=1&fs=ContactUs&co=GB
