New notification: "Open Fitbit to keep your data synchronized"

After the most recent app update yesterday, every time I close the Fitbit app on my iPhone, this new notification appears: "Open Fitbit to keep your data synchronized".

I have “All Day Sync” disabled (a supposed fix to this), but that does not disable the new, annoying, notification.

Just like a child, when you want them to repeat something cute and they don’t the 3 app solution now doesn’t work. After it worked several times before I posted. Bogus

Same here! So many things about Fitbit are frustrating. I’m on my third Fitbit due to one  problem or another.

Same!!! How do we stop this?!

I agree! Very annoying!!!!!

I agree. Totally annoying and I don’t use the app as much because of the notification. Hope it’s fixed soon!

On iPhone: Go to settings, Fitbit app, notifications, then turn off. This is the only thing that worked to turn the annoying thing off. I kept all day sync on  in the actual app though.

I have always had all fitbit notifications turned off-checked & they are still off. How & why am i & so many others receiving this irritating pop up? Driving me flat NITS! 🤪

Thank you for hearing me! And your advice!!!

This is obnoxious.

Best Answer

Thanks for sharing this idea. While that does get rid of the new pop-up, it obviously gets rid of ALL notifications...which diminishes the app’s usability.

Annoying as heck for my whole family.  They need to fix promptly.

This is something that need to be fixed without having to turn off ALL other notifications!!!!

As with everyone else, this is incredibly annoying… needs fixing ASAP. Having to turn all notifications off isn’t a solution.

I can understand your frustrations, but going by the release information.. is this an iOS issue. ?

I have no problems on the Android...

@RicardoFitbit  Thanks for becoming involved in this post... But, is it an iOS issue ?, if so this topic should be in the iOS Forum for more exposure to the users posting here.

Or, am I just a fortunate one and don't have issues on the Android..
