New to Fitbit got it for Christmas 12/25/2016
How do u get messages and calls on it?

First to make sure your Charge 2 will be able to receive notifications, please on your phone go to Settings > Notifications > Fitbit and make sure Allow Notifications, Show in Notification Center and Show on Lock Screen are all enabled and that the alert style is setup to Banners or Alerts.
Next, open the Fitbit app, tap on the Account tab > Your tracker > Notifications, a pop up will appear asking you to pair the tracker with the Bluetooth. Tap on continue and on the next screen enable text, call and calendar notifications to start receiving them.
