New update and now charge tracker won’t work

a couple of days ago i had notification of an update on the fitbit (apple. device) part way though uodating it crashed. the tracker had an ! mark on now that has gone and only half bar showing where device has stuck on the update.

 

i have been in touch with support who advised me to disconnect it from app then re install it. also gave me info on how to reset the tracker. i cant do anything i cant reset it, i cant turn it off, as its stuck. 

 

if anyone has had this problem and solved it how can you solve it thank you

I've got exactly the same problem. Tried all the suggestions and it's not working.  Will let you know if I manage to sort it out

Fixed it, I tried removing the watch from the app but that then meant it didn't pair. Ended up downloading the Fitbit app onto my laptop and then using the dongle to do the update.
