New update now does not recognise my Alta

Updated the Fitbit App tonight on my IPhone 5 and now the app does not recognise my Alta. Tried everything. Reset Alta, Wifi, 3G and Bluetooth nothing works. Anybody got any idea what's going on? Had trouble with the update connecting to the Alta, when I gave up it automatically updated the app, now nothing works at all.

Wonderful troubleshooting

 

Feel free restarting the phone if not already done. Optionally if installed the app update over a existing app version, feel free to uninstall and reinstall freshly.

Restart your Fitbit. It should fix it. My wife was having the same exact issue and I found the restart instructions and it fixed it.
