No Cellular Data? No Music Control Function...

So, I have been on the fence about switching from FitBit to Apple Watch Series 2.  I have decided it is time to make the change.  Fitbit doesn't listen to it's loyal customers.

  1. Why does the app "require" a cellular data connection for the music control function to work?
  2. Also, the MobileRun feature "requires" cellular data for GPS information?

GPS does not require cellular towers and saved songs in your iTunes library does not require an internet connection.  Lastly, you can track your exercise with the Fitbit app without having cellular data and the GPS is JUST as reliable.  Seems ridiculous that a cellular data connection is necessary to track a run or to control the music within the iOS app. The Nike+ RunClub iOS app tracks runs via gps and integrates apple music, all while in airplane mode.  No cellular data requirement.  For such a "leader" in wearables, your app development is sorely lacking.

Lastly, and totally unrelated, vibration alarms  HAVE NEVER been dependable with the Flex. The alarm works one day and not the next.  Reaching your activity goal vibration notifications rarely work.  Continue being stubborn to not integrate with the iOS Health App.  Continue not listening to your customers.
