No TEXT notification for Alta

Yesterday I updated from the Flex to the Alta. Could barely wait to enjoy the perks of notification. Sadly since yesterday I am trying to troubleshoot why I dont have notifications for texts.  I have an iphone 6s and I've tried these suggestions with no luck so far: Restart Alta, Turn off/on bluetooth, forget device, ensure notification is on (under the iphone settings>notifications), rebooth phone, ensure notification is on for the fitbit app (call and tex), etc. I do get notifications of calls, just not text which is the reason I got this to begin with.... PLEASE HELP before I return this

Welcome to the Community @DisappointUse! Thank you so much for all the details that you've mentioned as well for the troubleshoot that you've tried.

When you receive a notification, your tracker vibrates to let you know. If the display is off (dimmed) when you feel the vibration, double-tap to wake it up and see the notification. If you have Quick View turned on, turning your wrist towards you automatically wakes up the tracker.

Notifications are available for one minute after you receive them but otherwise are not stored, so if you don’t get to it within a minute you’ll have to check your phone instead. Call notifications scroll three times with the name or number of the caller and text messages and calendar events scroll once. For more information and tips, see our Alta notifications post

Hope this helps.

@DisappointUse  Also, be sure on your iPhone you have "Allow in notification center", "Show in notification center" and "Show on lock screen" enabled.

Hello @Kmransom123, it's always nice to see you around!. Thank you for the additional information provided, these steps are very important when setting up notifications and sometimes they're overlooked. Smiley Wink

@DisappointUse, I was wondering if your Alta is able to receive notifications after following @SilviaFitbit and @Kmransom123 recommendations. Keep me updated! Smiley Happy
