I no longer get text notifications on my Fitbit Alta HR since iOS update 11.0. I get calls, but not text. I’ve tried all troubleshooting recommendations and reported issue to fitbit via chat. All notification settings in the app, in iPhone settings, and Bluetooth are set to on. Ive removed the app, removed device, reset the Fitbit, and added it all back on like new. Still have the issue. Please help.

Works for me, thanks!
on a side note, I got calls notification but not text notification then I found this thread.
What I did was removed the paired Alta HR from Bluetooth settings, removed the Alta HR from Fitbit app, restarted phone, re-paired the Alta HR within the Fitbit app and texted myself and BAMN! Got the text notification on the Alta!

Best AnswerHi there. My Samsung A8 updated to Android Pie 9.0 5 days ago and now I no longer get notifications for calls or texts. Fitbit rarely shows in available devices in my bluetooth, and when it does show up, it says unable to connect; check device settings.
I have gone through all the trouble shooting suggestions and also through many steps with an online help chat. No luck! Please help...this is so frustrating and disappointing. I have the Alta HR.
Best AnswerI followed the steps provided, multiple times, but i am not getting text/call notifications on my fitbit. I recently upgraded my phone to the IPhone XS Max. I took screen shots but I do not see how to attach them here...?

Hello @ijackson have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community.
I appreciate you have let us know you've already tried the troubleshooting steps provided on this thread. At this moment, as you have mentioned you've recently changed phones, if you have the old phone at hand, please Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
After that, you should be able to receive Notifications from your new phone. Now, if you do not have the old phone at hand, try the following:
Give this a try and let us know how it goes, happy stepping!
Best AnswerI do not have the old phone any more. I have had my new phone since December and didn't have any issues with notifications until my phone updated to Android Pie. Still not able to receive notifications.
Best AnswerI have a Fitbit Alta HR and a Samsung Galaxy S8. I have not had calls and texts for ages on my fitbit. I also do not have it vibrating anymore when my alarm goes off. It only vibrates when my 11pm go to bed warning goes off. I unpaired it from my phone like suggested above. Now my Bluetooth cannot find my fitbit. According to the fitbit app though it's still connected so now I'm completely confused. Where do I start at all with this now.
Best AnswerI too have done all Fixes suggested and have not gotten back text or call notifications- very slow syncing as well. Not tracking data - Fitbit doesn’t even sell Alta HR anymore!! A little over a year old and it’s useless and this one was a replacement because my first one had issues. Not happy
yep same! and no one is helping here!!!
I basically now have an expensive watch, so annoying and useless!
Best AnswerI dont have a luxary unfirtunately, I'm sim only with a paid for Samsung Galaxy S8, really dont wanna shell out for new hardware when what I have SHOULD work as advertised!!!! Not much to ask for really!
