No longer getting sleep score

I am not receiving a sleep score, I only see the regular sleep. I’ve restarted, I wear it snug, it reads my heart all through the day, and I’ve checked it in the middle of the night and it’s tracking my heart.  The sleep score was the whole reason I purchased this!

Thanks for the detailed information shared and for all your troubleshooting efforts. I understand how this could make you feel.

@brendabrider Note that you must get sleep stages in order to see the sleep score. Since you have mentioned that you are getting just the regular sleep, please confirm what is the message that you are getting in the Fitbit app, explaining why you are not getting sleep stages. In the meantime, let's review a few scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

@Tfelt03 I'd recommend checking if the sleep and heart rate tiles are hidden, please do the following:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and on the today tab tap Edit
  2. Swipe down and find the stat you want to add → tap Add or the + icon. To hide a stat tile, tap the X icon on the stat you want to remove.
  3. Tap Done.

Hope this helps.

The sleep tracker and heart rate tracker have completely disappeared from my app. Sleep tracking is the reason I bought mine, too. Hopefully someone has some insight…

Hi Cindy Re your prior replies on no sleep score and no detailed sleep info. Im in the charge 5 which I bought because my pal showed me all the cool info he gets on deep sleep, REM etc but I can’t make it work.

is there a way for me to send you a screen shot? It would help. Meanwhile  Today I got sleep awake and restless bars but then it says 0 awake 0 restless, no score and no detail on sleep quality. This is frustrating. Thanks
