Update 12/5/2018: I'm sorry to hear some users are still not receiving notifications on iOS 12. We continue to monitor this issue and are working on a resolution. If you haven't already, please try toggling bluetooth on/off and ensure your Apple device is up to date.

You guys, I have no clue how but I was just messing with the text notifications on my iPhone 8+, and I am now able to receive texts on my Alta!
This is what I have it set to:
Go to: Settings, Notifications, Messages
Make sure Allow Notifications is on
Under Alerts, make sure Notifications Center is checked.
I do not have Lock Screen or Banners checked.
Does this work for anyone else???
Best AnswerSo my previous fix stopped working. Ugh. But I just made sure Lock Screen is checked along with Notification Center and it’s working again. For now. Ugh.
Best AnswerTried that too, didn’t work. It only stopped working once I downloaded the iOS 12 software.
Best AnswerIt's over a month since you posted the fact that fitbit are investigating the problems with iOS 12. The most recent update of the app does not improve the problems of lack of notifications. Whilst I appreciate the difficulties caused by the introduction of changes made by apple this delay in coping is hardly acceptable
Try this and see if it works

Best AnswerGuess your FitBit is rather new? Mine is at leaset a year old (but I think this model is two) - I had a warranty one sent to me within first year.

Best AnswerNot sure why iPhone would be in a rush to help them fix it... that much is for sure fact being they have their own watch.

Best AnswerThis situation is very frustrating. It’s been several weeks since I’ve received notifications on my phone and still no resolution from Fitbit.
