Update 12/5/2018: I'm sorry to hear some users are still not receiving notifications on iOS 12. We continue to monitor this issue and are working on a resolution. If you haven't already, please try toggling bluetooth on/off and ensure your Apple device is up to date.

All my notifications and settings are correct. It’s started working on its own last week and stopped sometime last night. That’s the most it has worked on it’s own without me having to restart the Ionic or my iPhone. What’s causing it to start working and stop?! Very, very frustrating!
Best AnswerI haven’t read all 17 pages of posts, so I apologize if this has been brought up already. FWIW, I sleep with a Charge 2, and wear a Blaze during the day. My notifications work fine after I reboot my phone, and will continue to work fine until the next morning, when they no longer work.
I have Do Not Disturb configured (on my iPhone 7 running iOS 12.1.2) to automatically go on at 10 PM and off at 5 AM. I have not tested my theory out, but I suspect that the iPhone’s DND feature is somehow “permanently” breaking notifications getting to my Fitbits (until the phone is rebooted). My notification settings are set up properly (like I said, they work after I reboot my phone), and my Fitbit is currently connected as a Bluetooth device, but I have not been getting notifications this morning (I haven’t rebooted my phone yet). My suspicion is that, somehow, the turning off of DND is breaking notifications. I say this because I have some contacts set to Emergency Bypass (which means they bypass DND functionality), and I’m fairly certain that, in the evening (after DND commences), I’m still getting notifications on my Fitbit(s), but I haven’t done any thorough or formal (and documenting) testing to confirm this.
Basically, I’m rebooting my phone every morning to get around this issue. That, in and of itself, isn’t that big of a deal, but what is still a problem is that I am not getting calendar, or any other notifications that might be important (e.g.: a text from my boss about a work issue), until such a time as I do reboot my phone. I really hope Fitbit can fix the issue, or, if it’s a problem with iOS, they can get Apple to fix it.
Best Answeri have not tried a daily reboot... but will try for the next few days....
Yes, I hope Fitbit decides to fix this soon... 3 months since launch and repeatedly saying 'working on it, reboot' is old and actually doesn't solve the problem fully even in the short space 'of some notifications' coming across... I commonly will get 5 to 10 random emails from the past come across as new emails, and then have to sort through them to decide if they are 'real' new ones, or 'fake' new ones...

Best AnswerMine worked for 10 days after update and quit. Now i have to reboot almost every 2nd day to get text notifications.

As a test (and to help try and narrow down the contributing factors), I disabled the Do Not Disturb feature on my phone yesterday, but it didn’t make a difference - my daily morning calendar event notifications still weren’t sent to my Fitbit this morning.

Best AnswerThank you, @MarcoGFitbit.
I did some further testing last night. I created calendar events, with notifications set for the time of the event, for the following times:
11:45 pm
12:00 am
12:15 am
12:45 am
1:15 am
2:00 am
3:00 am
4:00 am
5:00 am
6:00 am
When I got up around 7:30 am, the last calendar notification that my Blaze received was from 2:00 am. Do Not Disturb on my iPhone is still disabled.
I have another set of tests lined up for tonight, also with calendar events, set to notify me at 2:00, 2:15, 2:30, 2:45, and 3:00 am, in the hope to narrow this down further.
I suspect there may be a related issue in the iOS side, although I’m not sure if it’s the root cause. When I looked at my phone at 7:30 am this morning, I only saw notifications for my (normal/daily) 7:00 and 7:15 am calendar events - I did not see any of the notifications from my test calendar events.
It won’t let me post an image for some reason

Best AnswerJust got a Charge 3 and have an IPhone 8 Plus using IOS 12. Everything syncs but not notifications. I realize there must be a problem with that but may need to return charge 3 since this is the reason I decided on getting it. Any idea when this will be fixed?
