Hello @SunsetRunner, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Thanks for taking the time to reply @Neureuter, @SunsetRunner, @Mikeswife1 and @DaveFit1234.
I appreciate you have come back and provided your feedback. At this moment, I would like to ask you to update the Fitbit app on your phone and let us know if anything changed and if you're still unable to receive text Notifications.
@SunsetRunner, note that the Fitbit app gets updated regularly in both iOS and Android but they're not usually updated the same day, as the two OS have differente requirements.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, have a great day.

Phone notifications and calendar work.
Text messages do not.
Thank you for trying.

After using an Apple Watch for 2 days, I've switched back. I was happy to see a software update. It's now taken 2 hours to charge my Apple Watch series 4 on 2.4amp usb... you could charge a Tesla 3 times in that amount of time.
Well, so far everything seems to be working... I wore it last night and sleep tracking worked. This morning I still got notifications without dropout. However text messages still did not come through. Is it because I have apple watches paired with my iPhone?
I've even tried turning off my "attached" apple watch... but there does not seem to be anything I can do to get iMessages to come through to my watch...

Same...they're still trying. Rumor has it that the iPhone update 12.1.2 did
not work with Fitbit text notification. I'm currently downloading 12.1.3 in
hopes that maybe something will change..I'll keep you posted.
