Hello @Vicvic, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, at this moment, the iPhone 8/8+/X are not yet officially supported devices, our Team is still working to make them fully compatible but some features (such as MobileTrack and Notifications) are not yet working correctly.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, please keep an eye on future updates. In the meantime, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply. Smiley Wink

At this moment I don't have a specific timeframe for when the iPhone 8/8+ will be added to the list of supported devices. Rest assured that our team is committed to supporting these devices and will release updates soon that will improve the experience on them.

I just purchased a new Alta HR to replace my Alta and I’m not receiving and text or call notification.  I’m running IOS. 11.0.3 i and wondering if that’s my problem.

Hi Marco,

Thanks for response, I resolved the issue. Spread the word that all that is needed is to manually pair with Fitbit through the app and it should work perfectly.

Hello @Beachgirl4215, thanks for joining the conversation, it's a pleasure for me to welcome you to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for taking the time to reply @Vicvic and @RM0034, I hope you're doing well. Smiley Happy

@Vicvic and @RM0034, I appreciate you came back and let me know your issue has now been resolved, I'm very glad.

@Beachgirl4215, if your Alta HR is not receiving Notifications, let's try the following:

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device. If your old Alta is still on this list, remove it as well.
  2. Restart your phone.
  3. Go to the Fitbit app and tap on Account > Alta HR > Notifications and enable them again.
  4. Tap OK when you're asked to pair your tracker to your phone.

Additionally, please go to your phone Settings > Notifications > Fitbit and make sure the following is enabled:NuNotificationSettings.jpg

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

I have the iPhone 7s plus and when I did the iOS 11 update I am no longer getting my text notifications or Facebook messenger notifications on my Fitbit Blaze. I did the newest iOS update and newest Fitbit update.. still nothing. I am getting my call notifications though. I am getting very frustrated with this. I have been having this issue a few weeks now. I have tried many things.

After upgrading to the new IOS some of the settings have been changed.  In General Setting, Notification make  sure the Fitbit is  turned on to receive notifications.  Also look under Settings. messages and make sure imessage is turned on.   Check to see if blue tooth is paired.  Shut down iphone and restart.  Hopefully it works.

I’m having a similar problem with my iPhone 7. It’s updated to the newest iOS 11.0.3 and I get the call notifications on my charge 2 but not the text notifications. I also get the calendar alerts. I’m almost positive I have all the correct things turned on to get it. I’m hoping they fix it soon. It’s been 3 weeks with no signs of a fix.

I am hoping they fix it very soon as well! It’s been about 3 weeks for me as well. It’s very frustrating. I have even called customer service and they went through all the steps and all my settings are right. It’s not affecting my boyfriend. He is getting all of his nofitifationss and we both have the same phone and the Blaze. I guess we are the lucky ones that are part of the bug.

In the update some of the settings were changed.  Go to General Settings and under messages make sure imessage is on.  also make sure in notification section fitbit is allowed to receive notifications.

Hello everyone, I hope you're doing well. Smiley Happy

Thanks for letting me know the steps you've tried so far in order to try to resolve this situation. At this moment, if you're still not able to receive Notifications I would like to suggest you to set up your tracker as a new device to reset the connection between your phone and your tracker. If you're using a Blaze or an Ionic, remember that for 3rd party Notifications you will need to receive one new Notification on your phone before the 3rd party application can show up in the 3rd party Notifications list. Please make sure to sync your tracker one more time before trying to set it up as a new device to avoid losing any data.

To set up your tracker as a new device:

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  2. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  3. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  4. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.

Now, after you've set up your tracker as a new device, go to Account > Your Tracker > Notifications and enable them once again.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

Hello @Scandalnavia, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

Thanks for trying the troubleshooting steps I provided earlier. Please keep in mind that the iPhone 8 is still not currently fully supported which is why some features are still not working correctly. Nevertheless, I would like to suggest you the following:

  1. Go to your phone Settings > Do Not Disturb and check that it's disabled.
  2. Go to Settings > Notifications > Messages / Phone and disable Allow Notifications.
  3. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if Alta is showing as Connected in here. If it is, tap in it and select Forget this Device.
  4. Restart your phone
  5. Go back to Settings > Notifications > Messages / Phone and enable Allow Notifications
  6. Go to the Fitbit app and tap on Account > Alta > Notifications and enable them again. Tap OK when you're asked to pair your tracker with your phone again.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let me know the outcome.
