I just switched from an android to an iPhone. My HR2 tracker won't reliably retain data from previous days even when I sync before I go to bed (and usually will not automatically sync). Prior day's step count is therefore lost. Don't want to use all day sync (never have). Any ideas?

A warm welcome to our Community family @Paulhd! Thanks for stopping by!
Congrats on your new phone! Which model did you get? A daily sync is recommended but not required. Most Fitbit trackers record detailed minute-by-minute data for seven days and Fitbit trackers can store daily totals for up to 30 days. So, it is really odd! Have you tried to restart your tracker to see if this helps?
If you leave the "All-day sync" option "on", you should be getting your information sync automatically. Are you using the "Force sync" option instead? Or are getting an error while syncing?
I'll be around waiting for your response, please keep me posted!
