You won’t lose data by force shutting the app by swiping up. Your not uninstalling the app. But if force shutting the app makes you nervous then just restart your device and see if that solves your syncing issue.
Hello @TanyaCof
I would try turning your Bluetooth off then on again. If that doesn’t correct the issue I would log out of your Fitbit app, then force shut the app by swiping up. I would then shut down your device and restart it. Once your device is fully loaded , sign back into your Fitbit app and see if that corrects your issue.
😉 Please let me know if this resolves your issue
Best AnswerHello again @TanyaCof
im assuming because your post is in the iOS device your device is indeed an iOS. So log out of the app then place your finger on the app and swipe upward on the screen putting slight pressure on your screen while swiping upward. It will remove the app from your screen.
Maybe after logging out of the Fitbit app try double tapping your home screen then swipe the app up to force shut.
