Hi,
I bought an Iphone for the first time so it;s my first time using ios. I keep getting notification on my phone that I should let Fitbit app run in the background for better functionality (or something like that, my phone is in Dutch).
Based on this: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202070
I see Fitbit in the Background App Refresh list, the refresh is enabled and Fitbit app is also allowed and yet I keep getting notification to turn it on. And it does seem that it does not sync in the background. It does sync shortly after opening the app.
I also am not getting notifications on the watch whenever I get an new email.
I'm on iOS version: 17.0.2 and I use Fitbit Sense 2.

Any solution to this? I am having the same problem. Background refresh is on but still won't work.

I still have this issue, updated Fitbit app to the new version, new version for iOS aswell, which is 17.0.3 if I remember correct. Still the issue remains.
Turning off the background refresh and then back on does not help, pairing the watch again does not help, reinstalling the Fitbit app also does not help. Restarting the phone does not help. Opening the app through the "turn on the background sync"-notification only opens the app normaly.
