Notifications Problem

I had notifications from my iPhone for texts and meeting reminders and it has worked well until now.  

When I get a text and look at my phone it is the same meeting invitation from the same guy.  It only happens with this guy.  

I turned off notifications and it is still happening and I CLEAR the message every time.

I am inclined to not meet with this guy any longer.

@kenfwelch   It's a mystery to me why you get a notification when you blocked them.  If you don't want to meet with this guy any longer, why don't you block him?  Then you can you notifications back on for the features you want.

 

 I am also moving this to the iOS forum, a better fit.

Hi @kenfwelch,

 

I apologize for the delayed response, but I just saw your message.  Have you checked on the phone to make sure that the Calendar app you use has a cleared app cache?

The meeting reminder pops up when I get a text message or reminder from
anyone else. I have to clear HIS meeting reminder and the texts or other
message is next in line for me to read. It's a bug.

My comment about not meeting with him any longer was a lame attempt at
humor.
