Notifications and quick replies for Versa 3 with iOS device

Good morning

I hve done research and a bit worried.

im getting my fitbit versa 3 and i have a iphone x, will I get message alerts on watch and will i see entire message? 
i was reading and saying now you cant answer calls or make messages from watch?

Regarding the option to reply to messages with the Versa 3, devices paired to an iPhone can only respond to Fitbit app notifications, such as messages, cheers, taunts, and friend requests.
