Notifications from my iPhone only appear on my Blaze when I unlock my phone. This is obviously a problem. What's the point of notifications when I'm already looking at the phone?

Hello @CaptainJack69, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's nice to have you on board! Smiley Happy

This seems like a very odd situation. However, I would like to suggest you to go to your phone Settings > Notifications > Fitbit and check that Show on Lock Screen is enabled. If it is, please disable it, enable it back and restart your phone. Your Notifications should now appear while your phone is locked.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else. Smiley Wink

Hello @antiquespaceshi, thanks for joining the conversation, it's a pleasure for me to welcome you to the Fitbit Community. Smiley Happy

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for letting me know you have already tried the troubleshooting steps I've provided earlier. At this moment I would like to suggest you to go to your phone's Settings > Notifications > Fitbit > Show Previews and set them to Always; then, go back and make sure the following is enabled:

  • Show on Lock Screen
  • Show in History
  • Show as Banners (Banners set to Temporary)

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

Hello @Emloves2teach, I hope you're doing well, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. Smiley Happy

I appreciate you have already tried the troubleshooting steps I've provided earlier. Tell me, which Fitbit device are you currently using? Have you restarted it yet? If so, I would like to suggest you the following:

- Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and tap on tracker. Then tap on Forget this Device.

- Force-close the Fitbit app by double tapping the home button on your phone and swiping up the app.

- Open the app again and tap on Account > Your Tracker > Notifications. You will receive the following Pop-up:

- Tap Pair

- Once you get back to the tracker options, tap on Notifications an enable the ones you'd like to receive.

- Then, once you tap on Set Up, the app will begin setting up your tracker with the Bluetooth on your phone, which will prompt the next pop-up:

- Tap Pair

- Once you get back to the tracker options, tap on Notifications an enable the ones you'd like to receive.

Hello @Emloves2teach, I hope you're doing well, thanks for taking the time to reply. Smiley Happy

I appreciate you have already tried the troubleshooting steps I've provided earlier. Tell me, which Fitbit device are you using? Some of them have a Do Not Disturb mode that will prevent them from receiving Notifications. For example:

  • Blaze: Swipe down while on the clock face and check that Notifications are turned ON
  • Charge 2: Press down the button for 2 seconds, a vibration and a message will let you know if Notifications have been turned on or off.
  • Ionic and Versa: Press the left button for 2 seconds, on the menu that shows up, swipe left to get the Notifications option, make sure it's ON.

I hope this can be helpful, please check these settings on your Fitbit device and let me know the outcome.
