I have a number 2 on my app tile and I can’t get it to clear. I’ve clicked on everything in the app but the 2 remains. What to do?

I've had this issue for over a year. I cannot get an answer. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. There is a red dot like I have a new message but there are no messages. It's very annoying.

There is a new, ongoing, bug that Fitbit are aware of and are investigating. Keep an eye on the following thread where they are posting updates:

@Wvbeetlebug as you have had a problem for a long while this is probably a different issue.
