Nutrients Menu missing in daily food log

The Nutrients menu just below Macros on my current daily Food Log missing? I can expand the nutrients menu by clicking “Show” for previous days but not the current day. Loved this feature to track and adjust my daily intake of RDA of nutrients early in the morning or throughout the current day. One of my favorite features of the app. Was this feature removed in the new app update?

Been reported in a few other threads of which most have been merged into one thread by a moderator. The moderator is apparently communicating to the development team - we'll see how that goes.

But what you seem to have missed is that the nutrients section is also included in future dates, as well.

What I am doing in the interim is to book today's "what if" intakes into the log for tomorrow, where I can see the combined detail. And just booking actual intake in today's log. At the end of the day I delete all of the entries in the "tomorrow" log.

Yes, a bit of a kluge, but it's a viable workaround until the issue is resolved.

Good luck and welcome to the boards.

Came on to look for answers and complain about this too. Hopeful they are working on it. You can also see this info on the actual Fitbit Website too. Annoying to have to go there, but it does have the numbers you need.

The web Food Log page has s-o-m-e of the information, but not all.

Missing are elements for those in poor health or at risk for some diseases, or as in my case the victim of a viral attack on my heart four years ago. Even if you are a young individual in good health it is important to monitor the following:

Saturated and Trans Fat - it is important to have less than 10% of your total calorie input from those fats for heart health. Saturated fats play a part in the generation of cholesterol which is not something you want a lot of in your blood.

Cholesterol - While lower levels play an important role in the body's upkeep, 300 mg a day is considered the maximum you should ingest, a maximum 200 mg for those with heart disease.

Sugar portion of carbs - pre-diabetics and diabetics have vested interest on keeping on top of that value as well as anyone that does't want to risk becoming diabetic. Even those with out pre-existing conditions would watch that intake - women should limit themselves to 24 grams a day, men 36 grams.

It is mainly for those reasons I asked for the nutrients feature to be added in January 2019 and why I applauded it being implemented in July of 2020.

Hopefully you now understand what all of the vocals are about.

Showing nutrients still missing 3-27-2021. I’ve tried some of the fixes that were mentioned...didn’t work. Fitbit indicated they were working on bringing it back...Not sure they intend to bring back this feature, a feature that so many people loved and used daily.
