I want the old dashboard back. Easy and was nothing wrong with it. Why fix something when nothing is wrong? Very disappointed. Asking if you want to look but then you can't go back to original is disappointing. People should be given a choice.

@jodybr Welcome to our Community! Happy to hear that you are getting used to the new Dashboard and that you are finding some of it features useful. Still I encourage you to vote for the idea in our Feature Suggestion board mentioned in my previous post so the developers know that many of you want to have the option of the old Dashboard.

I'll be around!

I have the same problem.  On my dashboard, I click the left arrow to go back a day to see previous steps/miles/cals burned/minutes, but it doesn't go back for the other stats (cals eaten, sleep, active hours, weight, exercise, water intake).  I have to physically click on the tile and scroll down to the day to find the stats, which is a lot of going back and forth. I wish I could see all of the stats for one day at a time.

Prepare to be frustrated by what I say next... but that is actually BY DESIGN. Yep, they did this on purpose.

When you scroll back to previous days, to see that day's info, only certain tiles update with that data. Most tiles still show you the present day's data, even though you intentionally scrolled back to a previous day. Only way to see that data is to click into each tile individually, then go back to that day in those tiles.

As a result, it is no longer possible to view all of your data from a previous day.

This is such a bumbling design problem that I have stopped wearing my fitbit. It was too frustrating and the level of information I could easily access had reduced to the point where it wasn't worth it to me.

Just to add another voice I've now been forced to go over to the new IOS app and the UX design is so embarrassingly poor compared to the simplicity of the original. I'm extremely disappointed, it's an app I've constantly used and refered to for a year now but I think I'll be looking at competitor products because Fitbit are not listening to their customers. 100% of the people I know absolutely hate it. As a designer myself, I can't stand poor design work undertaken for the sake of it.

Have just looked through this forum and seen the number of people unhappy with the new dashboard, as am I. On my iphone all I get is a meaningless graph on the top half of the screen with the bottom half white and blank except for distance ran, What is the point?, this dashboard does nothing for me and I really cannot understnd why we've had it forced upon us without the option of choosing either. What I dont understand is how Fitbit see this as an upgrade or the commercial advantage in imposing what is a very unpopular change.

Also I am disappointed by Fitbits' seemingly unwillingness to address this (ie. give us the option because in fairness some people like the new dashboard) or even explain how this is actually an "upgrade" as they see it rather than a downgrade as a large number of their (current) customers see it .

Over to you Fitbit, I challenge you to a positive response.

Thanks  for this. I hate the new dashboard! I followed your instruction and have the old one back but did not see an option to turn the "Preview New Dashboard" slider off. Maybe it is not an option on my Fit Bit?

I am just glad to have my old dashboard back. I will ignore the brightpink banner if I have to!! Thanks again.

Hate hate hate this new dashboard!!! The whole point of the dashboard is to be able to scroll back and compare ALL parameters on previous days. What is the point if the tiles on the bottom are loaded with previous days data. This forces you to go into each parameter's log individually. And how does it make sense whatsoever that the steps, active minutes and calories burned tiles at the top show each day's correct info but the bottom tiles for such things as calories-in and steps per hour are loaded with current day info. So you can't even scroll thru previous day dashboards and compare, say for 2 days ago, calories in vs. calories out!!! Makes not one bit of sense for half of the dashboard to be one way and the other half another way. I don't know who the genius was that decided this would be a good thing!!!

The option to go back to the old dashboard was removed in a Fitbit app update some time ago. 😩

So from what I can see this issue is all over the message boards. FitBit needs to step up and do something. They keep telling me it's a "new feature" of the updated dashboard but in my opinion they likely know it's a design flaw or bug and don't want to admit it. Who in their right mind at Fitbit thought this was a good idea?!? Did someone on the design team one day say "Lightbulb... What if we changed half of the dashboard so that it displays only current day info for the previous days? What user wouldn't want to see today's water consumption on a dashboard from 5 days ago? Wow lets do this I think that will be a great feature!" Come on people! I like the format of the new dashboard BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FITBIT CHANGE IT SO THAT IT DISPLAYS THE PROPER DATA FOR PREVIOUS DAYS!!!

Hey Fit bit,
When are you going to start reading the responses on your infamous help option. So many of us want the old dashboard back .why don't you make ALL your customers happy and offer it as an alternative to those of us who want it!?!?
Thanks,TootieChristopher

Sorry pal, but if you read all the posts about the new dashboard you'll see you are one in many who actually like it.
Please help the rest of us by asking Fitbit to make it an option to get old or new dashboard. It is really that difficult? It's not rocket science, just a simple request!

Actually I did read the posts however I am too new to FitBit to have known the old dashboard. So the new dashboard is all I know and I do like the layout (like others as I am "one of many" who do like it as you pointed out) HOWEVER it is ridiculous that it only displays current day info for previous days. If that means FitBit puts the dashboard back to the old one you are talking about then fine. All I am asking for is for the data to be correct for each previous days like it was when I first started using it. I still think this is a bug and not a "new design feature" like they keep saying it is.
