Fitbit Model: Fitbit HR Alta
Device: iPhone 6S / IOS 12.4.5 (I don't think IOS 13 is available for iPhone 6)
Issue: This just started today. I can no longer open the Exercise and Sleep data, tried turning my phone on and off several times. I had no issues with it yesterday and I was able to add an exercise for today. But when I tried to check my exercise details (time/route etc) and Sleep patterns, nothing happens when I click the (+) beside these 2 data components.
Weirdly enough, I see all the details in my Fitbi account when I check it on my computer.
Any suggestions?

Hi @TulipBlooms76. Welcome! It's good to see you around.
Thanks for sharing detailed information about this matter, as well for the troubleshooting steps that you've tried so far. Just to confirm, are you unable to see your exercise or sleep data? Or is the issue with the "+" icon not allowing you to log your details?
Our team recently released a new update for the Fitbit app, so please make sure to download it. Then force quit the Fitbit app, reboot your phone one more time and try to see your details one more time.
Give it a try and let me know.

@TulipBlooms76 I use an iPhone 6s and I have iOS 13.3.1. I am not sure why you didn't get a software update for your iPhone. You can check for an update by tapping on your iPhone Settings > General > Software Update.

I am having the same issue. I have an iPhone 8 Plus with 13.4.1 and the sleep, exercise and heart rate will not open. It started today after I tracked exercise through my local park.

As others have mentioned, logging out of Fitbit, then logging back in is what has worked for me. It hasn’t happened frequently, but often enough to be an annoyance. I don’t know the cause, but while adding an exercise (walking), I often listen to podcasts using Outcast or Apple Podcast, or audio books using Libby and frequently flip between apps to check status such as distance walked or where I am in a podcast or book. I wonder if this activity isn’t causing the app to hang. Just a thought.
