Hi,
I got my fitbit charge last week and it was working fine, now however i get a 'Poor GPS Alert' every time I try to track exercise. I can see from the other threads that I have read that this seems to be a common issue, however what I have tried from the suggested solves has not worked. I don't understand why it has suddenly stopped working and it is extremely frustrating and annoying. Can you please offer a soloution that actually works and explain why it is suddenly not working.
Cheers
Kylie

The Charge has been out of production for a couple of years now. Please clarify what tracker you have.

Hi there @Kylieab, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. It's nice to see you too @SunsetRunner, thanks for your input about this situation.
@Kylieab, I have moved your post form the Charge board to the iOS board because based on the information you're providing and given the fact that you have a Fitbit Charge, I can tell for sure you seem to be having trouble with MobileRun in the Fitbit app and not the tracker itself as the Fitbit Charge does not have connected GPS.
I'm very glad you were able to fix the issue affecting MobileRun and that is now working as it should. Thanks for coming back and let us know.
In case you have some spare time, I would like to invite you to visit our Discussions board where you will find great tips and encouragement from other members and if there's anything else I can do for you, please keep me posted!

I am having the same issue for the last 30 - 40 days. I have a fitbit Alta and even if I go on a straight route with my bike it now shows me jumping all over the area. I have also tried all the troubleshooting recommended solutions and still having these issues. My bike is amazing as it can all of a sudden jump across rivers, go straight through forests and fly across roads. Also, sometimes the summary graphic that appears when you click "exercise" is not even the correct one. Today I downloaded another cycling mapping app to test it compared to the Fitbit IOS app and it worked fine.
Very frustrating as it shows I go much further than I did and my speed is amazing. I have been using this app for at least three years for cycling and never had this issue until a month or so ago.

Hello @rgilbert24, I hope you're doing well, thanks for joining the conversation.
I appreciate you have taken the time to share your experience with us and for letting me know you have already tried the tips provided in the Forums. I would like to provide you some troubleshooting steps that have proven to be very helpful on this situation:
If you're still getting the same error, please uninstall and reinstall the app, making sure to sync your Alta before doing so, to prevent any data loss.
Now, when it comes to the preview maps you're seeing when tapping on the Exercise tile, our team is aware of this issue and is working towards a proper resolution for it. Once we have more to share with you, we'll make sure to post it here in the official Forums.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, give it a try and keep me posted!
