Yes, the update apparently fixed the input issue....and simultaneously erased every past water amount I had entered daily, going back to December 2023. The new system apparently interpreted the old amounts I had entered as 1 oz each, so a 2-water bottle day is now a 2-oz day.
Seriously what the heck.

I'm having issues with my water log too
It seems like there's been an update that has completely changed the layout, won't let me add in ml, and has switched all previous days to only having 2 oz logged

@Bug1701 If you go to your account (upper right corner) and select Fitbit settings, you can change your default to ml in the App Settings>Date, time & units.
Hope that helps

I have been logging my water for the past three, four years. As I went into the Fitbit app today on April 3, 2025, I noticed that my water has been changed every day since this week going all the way back to the beginning in 2021.
I want to know why Fitbit has changed my information on my own account, without my knowledge, or consent?

Hello @JggyWyz and welcome to the Community. Do you use an Android or iPhone? I use an iPhone and the water logging was just updated to be consistent with the rest of Google's design theme. My data is corrupted, too. ALL of my previous logs got changed to 1 oz each day.

The iOS update that made water logging consistent with the rest of Google's design theme corrupted all my old data. Every daily entry is 1 or 2 oz.

Same! We were discussing this in the thread here: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Unable-to-log-water-with-Today-tab-shortcut/m-p/5737013#M180...
But it definitely needs more attention! So far no reply from anyone in charge.

@afryer I saw those posts in the other thread. I started a new thread to get Fitbit's attention.

@LizzyFit, as others have pointed out, there’s still an issue with the water data. It looks like the data migration defaulted to mL for historical data instead of oz or whichever unit was used by the user. Here’s a screenshot showing my data for last week, which should show 68+ ounces per day.

Looks like when they did the conversion they messed up the ounce and millimeter designations in the historical data. I switched the default from ounce to ml and the historical data is showing the correct number for each day but as ml instead of ounces. Fitbit needs to correct the data conversion parameters historically.

I agree, I’m having the same issue.

It's also messing up the entries in real time - twice today I've entered amounts and the amount displayed on the main screen is different than what I entered and what is visible when I click into the water tile. Just now it's a difference of 26 v 27 oz. Earlier today it was the difference between 54 and 57 oz.

Ah, I can see this too if I switch. But of course post-4/1 the numbers are correct, so if they fix this without being careful they'll corrupt our current data as well. @LizzyFitbit

Hear hear. Having the same problem grr 😖

Several issues:
1 FitBit regularly deleted my water intake, so even though I keyed in 3 bottles, 72 oz, the next morning, it would vanish or have a lesser amount.
2. Today, 4/3/25, it appears the app has changed, and the new update has reverted all previous days of water to 2 oz. Do I need to go in a day at a time and fix it?
Please don’t sell on me this is a feature not a bug. I cringe with every update and product fix.

My data was corrupted overnight from 4/03 to 4/04, a day or 2 later than the other posters so far. All days now showing 1 custom entry of 2 oz, and all other entries as custom and 0 oz. So glitch still occurring. iPhone app.
