Yes, the update apparently fixed the input issue....and simultaneously erased every past water amount I had entered daily, going back to December 2023. The new system apparently interpreted the old amounts I had entered as 1 oz each, so a 2-water bottle day is now a 2-oz day.
Seriously what the heck.

My FitBit app got the newest downgrade, and now I'm unable to log and track my water intake without going into settings and manually changing the units each time I want to monitor or add.
All previous versions let users add in ml or oz and view in their choice of units; however, this recent downgrade forces users to choose one or the other and is now less flexible.

I updated my app this morning (4/1/25) and all of my water log data has disappeared. Each day shows my different entries but rather the correct ounces, it shows either 0 ounces or 1 ounce rather the correct data. Fitbit support has been completely useless. I am super frustrated because I need my water log from March 2025.

@LizzyFitbitHow do I get this escalated to find out if my data is still in there?

Same here!
I mean, I’m glad this has been fixed but they created some collateral damage in doing so by wiping all of the water consumption history I’ve manually logged for the past 2 months.

Same here, all logged water prior to 4/1/25 has been wiped out (back to 2015). Each entry is still there but with a max of 3 oz when I typically enter 16 - 88 oz. Unbelievable.......

I record mine in ml rather than oz, and my records don’t seem to have changed.
It looks like a conversion error to me. If your max is 88oz which is now showing as 3oz, 88ml is equivalent to 3oz from what I can work out.

Thanks @Filbo - that kinda makes sense, they screwed up the unit conversion in the Laps for GPS tracked activities when they updated the Activities tile which is still incorrect after 6 months.
@LizzyFitbit are they going to fix this?

Yikes. Plausible but unacceptable.

Water intake log worked fine until this afternoon. Now it has erased intake for the entire year. The screen to enter intake changed today…no idea why. It was fine the way it was.

@Judithcassel Do you use an Android or iPhone? This is an app issue and your post can get moved to the appropriate forum where you might get the help you need.

I just experienced the same. The screen for logging water looks different. I am hoping it’s a glitch and Google will fix it. But I don’t know how we go about letting them know it’s an issue.

I just noticed this happening to my water log as well. Hoping it’s a glitch and will be solved soon. I’ve been tracking my water for the last 6 months and would hate for it all to be gone.

The best way to let Google know about App issues is to click the icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Today screen and then choose 'Feedback' to provide the issue details.

I am having this issue too. I wonder what happened.

All of my prior water data (for years) is also gone and now it looks like there is no option to log water in mL in addition to oz.

What App version are you using that has the water logging issues?

The same thing happened to me and I’m on version 4.39.

It appears that Google introduced yet another bug into their latest App software release. Nobody reported this water logging issue using 4.38 and 4.39 was just recently released.
My App software version is 4.39.2, but I don't log water, so hopefully 4.39.2 will resolve that issue for you.
