Yes, the update apparently fixed the input issue....and simultaneously erased every past water amount I had entered daily, going back to December 2023. The new system apparently interpreted the old amounts I had entered as 1 oz each, so a 2-water bottle day is now a 2-oz day.
Seriously what the heck.

Plan? If they had one and were serious about their support, Google would INVITE users from the Community to beta test their updates and fixes instead of allowing us to beta test d complain after the fact. It's disappointing on so many levels, especially to those evangelist FitBiters. Fingers-crossed.

Hi everyone, and welcome to our new members.
Thanks for keeping me posted about your experience after updating the Fitbit app. While I'm glad the historical data, I appreciate you for sharing with me that your recent logs don't show the right amount. I apologize for this inconvenience as I understand how important this data is for you.
I've forwarded your comments to our team so they can investigate and bring a solution for you. Rest assured that I'll update this thread as soon as I receive more information from them.

The original issue seems to be fixed, but as of the 4.43 update my water readings starting from April 2 are showing the ml value even though the app is set to display oz and the label reads oz.

My Inspire 3 has suddenly started incorrectly reporting my water data. It’s changed all of my old data to new much higher amounts. Yesterday I logged around 48 fl oz. Now it reads 1065 fl oz logged! And all previous days are logged as extremely high too. Is there some software glitch going on? Any ideas on fixing this issue? I’ve closed and reopened the app, but that did nothing. I tried reaching out to customer service chat, but they’re “currently unavailable”.

I have the same issue since 15MAY25, actually logged into the forum to see my dashboard (looks to be gone / only on phone now) - only posting to let you know you're not alone in this.

I have the same problem with my previously entered water data. The issue started on May 21. All of my water data changed to astronomical daily amounts: 710oz, 1164oz, 1840oz!!! Apparently the app updated to 4.43 a week ago. I thought that was supposed to be a fix. I don’t know what to do to fix this besides erasing all of the bad data and replacing with my best, but inaccurate, guess.

My app is updated and is now converting my historical oz to ml, but leaving it under the oz tag. ie I enter 17oz and it has converted to 500 oz. This happened when on 5/22 when I went back to look at 5/21. Anything 5/21 and prior has switched as described.

Hi everyone, and welcome to the community forums.
Thanks for sharing more information, and keeping the Fitbit app update. Before anything else, I'd like to share with you that our team is working hard to investigate how to resolve the incorrect water logs that were logged using App releases 4.39 to 4.42.
In order to keep our team informed, could you confirm if you continue experiencing inflated historical water logs since upgrading to app release 4.43? If you haven't done so, please install this update and keep me posted with the outcome.

Using 4.44. Data prior to April 4 is now correct. Data from April 4 to May 13 is scaled incorrectly as ml but show oz. Data from May 14 is correct.

I've upgraded to the 4.43 app version. My water data from April 2 until May 21 still reads in the 1000s of oz, but the data before and after that range are correct.

My data is incorrect Apr 1 - May 18.
The historical data that was converted from OZ to ML when 4.39 updated (3/31) was corrected with 4.43. When the historical was corrected it also changed the then current data (4/1 - 5/18), assuming all entries were in ML even though entries after April 1 were correct in OZ.
Following the 4.43 release, entries in OZ are still in OZ.
