So I've just purchased the new charge 2 (my first ever Fitbit), downloaded the iOS app, followed all the instructions and managed to pair my Fitbit and my iPhone together. This was at about 7pm. I wore it for about 3 hours, and the Fitbit was syncing all information to my phone on the app for me to view, and then all of a sudden it's just stopped syncing.
I've turned my Bluetooth off and back on, force quit the app, turned my iPhone off and back on and also deleted the app and re downloaded it, but now I can't even find the Fitbit when I try and link a new device, and I've also tried doing all this on a colleagues phone too, and still no joy whatsoever. Is it safe to say I've acquired a faulty device?
Thank you in advanced for any help.
Joe.

I think you only delete the app from your iPhone. I would reinstall the Fitbit app and login to your account. Is it possible that you accidentally logged out of your account. Once you are logged out of your app your Fitbit will not sync.

@Joesmith say are you using iOS version 10? If so here some information that might help.

Please make sure you do have the latest version downloaded, cause it definitely works better than the previous version and it's not supposed to be crashing. Do the following to see what version of the Fitbit app is installed on your device:
Tap the Account tab.
Tap Help. You'll see the app version at the top of the screen. Unlike the image the image below, you app should say 568 which is the latest version.
User-added image
To update the Fitbit app to a newer version:
On your iOS device, tap App Store.
Tap the Updates tab.
If a Fitbit update is available, you'll see Fitbit in the list of pending updates.
Tap Update.
Hope this helps. Keep me posted! Cat Very Happy
