I have recently been updated to the new dashboard, but it is not working correctly. The tiles will turn from a square to a diamond, but will not show a progress bar of any sort. Please tell me if this is just normal, or if there's a way to fix it.

@sebastian747 I am going to report this as a bug. This Help article talks about this new Fitbit "app experience". The display in the Help article and in the App Store show circles with a progress bar -- just like the previous app. Not like your display.
It might take a little bit of time for your view to get fixed.
