Random Bingo invitations

Hi, kind of new to Fitbit. Have a Charge 4, and a trial premium membership.

I have no desire for any of the social aspects of Fitbit, just want a tracker to track what I do personally. I have all notifications turned off, no friends, minimal profile, no sharing of any information outside of the app.

Still, every few days some nutty lady who is (1) not my friend, and (2) I don't know sends me 10-20 Bingo invitations. Because she's not a friend, I can't block her, and I have to manually delete all these invitations over and over again with no way seemingly to prevent them from being sent to me. How do I stop this? Really, between the random notifications on my tracker that I've made progress on a milestone and this, I'm really frustrated with Fitbit altogether.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @SunsetRunner.

Thanks for the details shared in your post. I am sorry to hear about the frustration this situation has caused. I recommend reviewing your privacy settings by following the instructions in this help article: How do I manage my Fitbit profile?

Additionally, I recommend checking if your Fitbit app is updated to the latest version as updates come with new features and bug fixes: How do I update the Fitbit app?

Hope this helps.

Yeah no. This is not a help at all.

I've done all of this so long ago and my app is up to date.

LaDonna W still sends me 20 invites every few days that I have to delete one by one. I don't get it.

Thank you for your reply, @SunsetRunner.

I am sorry to hear the issue persists, thank you for your efforts. I recommend checking your notifications settings in the Fitbit app:

1. Tap the Today tab > your profile picture.

2. Tap Notifications and turn off options for notifications for friend requests and challenges.

Hope this helps.
