Mine crashes when it tries to sync as well. I have an iPhone 6s and I have the latest iPhone update and Fitbit app update.

Same here, every time I open the app and try to sync it, it freezes up and crashes.

Mine is the same. App freezes at log in screen and won't let me log in. Uninstalled and reinstalled app. Turned phone on and off. Still nothing. T

I sent a tweet and got this answer:
"Sorry to hear this. Please try to log out from your account, force quit the app then reboot your phone. Relaunch the app to refresh your Dashboard and let us know if the issue persists."
It worked for me. Hope it works for you.
