Red Dot

I can’t get of it. Got a message from a woman wanting sex. I got rid of the request but the red dot won’t disappear.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community. The message you received sounds unfortunate and certainly not in the spirit of what is hoped in the behaviors of others on Fitbit. First and foremost I would remove this individual from your friends list. As far as the notifications “red dot” sometimes that red dot takes a couple of syncs for it to disappear. It the notification red dot persist you can simply log out out the Fitbit App and force shut the app by swiping up then simply log back into your Fitbit App as you normally would.

I have had a pesky notification red dot linger as well a time or two. Once was because of a friend request that I tapped ignore on and the dot didn’t go away. Later I realized that I also had a private message from a friend that came up at the same time as the friends request so that’s why it stayed on. Do check to make sure your not missing a new “message” from one of your Fitbit friends. Other then that my stuck red dot has disappeared overnight but I could never really put my finger on how. Let me know if it’s still showing in the morning and we can go from there.
