Update 7/13/2018: Hi Everyone! We should be back to normal in the next day or so, but you may see a slight delay with your friend's leaderboard updating. Thanks again for your patience and reports.


Update 7/13/2018: Hi Everyone! We made some updates last night that should help improve this issue. Please try syncing and logging out and back in. If you are still experiencing this issue please let me know.


Update 7/12/2018: Hi Everyone - I've merged a few posts together. Thanks for your reports on the friend leaderboard not updating or updating slowly. I've reported this to our team and will let you know once I've heard further.

I’m having the same problem and have been for a few days. My steps update in my daily total and my challenges but not my leaderboard. I have tried every suggestion on all forums for this issue and nothing works. Me and my friends are very competitive with steps so this is creating quite the issue for me. Please advise.

Mine did update once today but is currently no longer updating again.

I am having the same problems! Also, the last fitbit notification I have received was from June 17th letting me know I was an overachiever!

Same problem. Uninstalled. Turned phone off and on.

Should be in the lead in the community :😥

I had the same problem, and unfortunately I uninstalled and reinstalled but the problem is still there! Nothing showing against my name on the the friends list!!

This started happening with me yesterday, I updated the app last night and this morning my Friends weekly total in Community synced yesterday's numbers, but I've walked almost 20,000 steps today and it's not updated it in my weekly total on the community page (and I'm finally #1 in my group!)

I've restarted my phone, the app, and my One and nothing has changed.  I've synced it on my laptop and the app and nothing changes. I have all my updates.

So they posted a notice about the food logging issue saying they are aware of it and working on it. Why haven’t they posted something about the 7 day step issue that we’ve all been posting about for hours??? Troubleshooting obviously is not working for anybody.

I have the same problem with my Ionic and App. My steps are syncing but not showing on the weekly steps count board with my friends.

My iOS Fitbit app updated yesterday. The issue started 3-4 days ago. The online dashboard reflects the same issues. It did not appear to update after 15-20 minutes.

The 7 day counter does not add in my steps taken today. I've added them up and the 7 day tally shows for Sunday to Thursday for this week and Saturday last week. The 10,000 plus steps for today are not showing on the leader board. I've tried restarting the device yesterday and the android phone to no avail. It only appears to add the steps at the end of the day - this means it is one day behind. It appears reinstalling the app will not resolve the matter from previous comments.

I even called helpdesk yesterday and they said they were aware of this issue. It’s very frustrating indeed😢

Please fix this or at least provide an update as to when this will be fixed. Clearly you can see many Fitbit users are very frustrated and communication is very important.
