Music being prevented from playing is a known issue that should be resolved after the following steps:
1. Make sure that your iOS device is connected to the internet.
2. Rapidly double tap your iOS home button > swipe left until you see a preview of the Fitbit App > and swipe up on the preview to force close.
3. Reopen the Fitbit App.
