Searched, found several others having the same problem. Followed all the steps, finally after shutting phone down 15 times and Fitbit down 17 times got steps to sync. Still can't get sleep to sync. Will deleting and re-installing app cause me to lose a year of data? That's the only thing I can think to try.

Hi @ec - deleting and reinstalling the app won’t hurt, and is worth a try, but for hard to fix syncing issues I usually recommend starting from scratch. That would be to try deleting your Fitbit from the app and from Bluetooth settings on your iPhone and then adding it back as a new device.
