My sleep times are not even close on the app. I usually go to bed around 9:30 PM. The tracker shows that I sleep in the early afternoon until late evening or early morning. My Ionic displays the correct time and I checked the time zone in the settings and it’s correct.

Hi @jeffw17. Welcome! It's great to see a new face around.
Thanks for letting me know about your sleep times and for making sure the time zone is correct. To look into this matter, may I know if you've had a similar issue with your exercises? Did this happen after updating the Fitbit app to 3.15.1? If possible, please take a screenshot of the incorrect sleep logs recorded and attach it in your reply.
Assuming your Ionic didn't recognize your sleep correctly, I'd recommend to restart your watch and try wearing it one more time to monitor its behavior. Please note that if you move too much while sleeping or if you slept in a position that prevented your watch from getting a consistent heart-rate reading it might affect the sleep data recorded.
I'll be around, keep me posted.

Good Morning, I appear to be having a similar problem. My sleep time, when checked this morning had me going to bed 4 hrs later than I actually did! Total sleep time was correct however. Note that the PC dashboard was showing the correct time.
I have checked my timezones both on PC dashboard and iPhone, all are correct.
I uninstalled the app and re installed, now appears to be correct and will verify tomorrow morning.
And I am having a similar problem with the exercise logging. However this appears to be 4 hrs in the opposite direction to the sleep time issue. My actual time zone is set as GMT + 4.00, my exercise logs shows them starting 4 hrs early, i.e. GMT + 0.00, my sleep time was showing sleep started 4 hrs later than actual time, i.e. GMT + 8.00

There seems to be issues across the board with fitbits. I set my sleep time 3 times at 9:30-4:30 and each time it changed it to 3:30-10:30. I have had this issue, plus other tracking issues with hourly steps, calorie burns, exercise times etc.

I am having the same problem with my sleep logs - they are about 7 hours off! Also, exercise logs that I have entered are not showing HR during that time period - so I'm assuming that is a similar problem. Steps per hour do not seem to be affected - time range seems to be tracked correctly.
You mention to 'restart your watch' - how is that done?

Somehow my times are back to normal and revised themselves. Glad to hear others were seeing the same thing. Hopefully it’s corrected for good.

Hi everyone. It's great to see you participating in this thread and I'm sorry for the delayed response.
Thanks for sharing detailed information about the issues that you're having. I understand how important it's to track accurate data in the Fitbit app and I'm sorry that you're having this experience. Let me share that the issues with your exercise data not appearing and the time being incorrect for your sleep and exercises have been escalated to our team and a fix should be available with the next app update. Please visit and subscribe to this thread for more updates about this issue. Be sure that your feedback won't go unnoticed.
@queenKK, about your question, the "restart your watch" message from my previous post was hyperlinked so you can be directed to our help article which describes the instructions for that process. At this moment, let me recommend to keep the Fitbit app updated and check your synced data in your fitbit.com/dashboard.
@jeffw17, thanks for keeping me updated and I'm glad that your data is now displayed correctly. Happy stepping!
I'll be around if you have another question.

When is the next app update to fix this issue? Kind of annoyed by this - was working fine then broke for me on Thursday or Friday of last week - before the DST spring forward change

Hi @Kak70. Welcome to the Community Forums and I'm sorry for the delayed response.
Thanks for joining this thread. I understand how you're feeling about not having your data syncing in the correct time. Our team recently released the Fitbit app update 3.16.1 which should fix the issue with the exercises and sleep not showing the correct time and data. That said, please download the latest update and let me know how it goes.
I'll be around if you have any other question.
