SpO2 disappeared since app update (Charge 4)

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

After updating my app to version 3.2 earlier today, SpO2 tracking is no longer visible on the sleep screen.  Tracking had been working without issue and being reported after each night's sleep since receiving my Charge 4 (and the required FW update).  Today after updating the iOS app, even previous day's tracking is gone.  Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes, just noticed this. I could display this morning then updated around noon, now cannot see the graph or any reference to it in the text.

I am also confused with the update that SpO2 has disabled visualization.

The SpO2 log is very helpful information for checking apnea, etc.

Perhaps there was an instruction from the FDA, etc. This is very unreasonable for the user.

We strongly hope to be provided with official access to the SpO2 sensor which will be either modified or supplemented.

The updated version of app is 3.20.

SpO2 was displayed in 3.19. And that's not explained in the version history either.

Come on Fitbit, give us an explanation and an ETA for a fix!!

The same happened to me. Since updating to 3.20, not only was there no reporting of last night’s data, but all the previous night’s data has disappeared too.

Fitbit need to get this fixed as i’m sure that a lot of people made their choice of tracker based on SpO2 data monitoring.

Are Y'all referring to the "Estimated Oxygen Variation" chart?

I haven't upgraded to 3.20 yet, though will start looking for it to see if it deals with the Bluetooth pairing issue. I'd gladly give up the EOV chart if it means my Versa 2 / FitBit app will start providing all of the other functionality I have lost.

Yes, the EOV chart has disappeared. Whether it’s fixed a Bluetooth pairing issue, I can’t comment, as I had no problem pairing my Charge 4. If i’d known what I know now, I wouldn’t have updated to 3,20.

Best Answer

Yes, that's what we've apparently lost in Version 3.2

Thanks for the responses and please understand I was not minimizing your concern. As a 68-year old with an Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) (also known as a pacemaker with an onboard defibrillator), I am concerned about my SpO2 levels, or in this case, variations.

@MrMarv , even more reason for them to fix the problem!

Interesting ...

I just now updated to 3.20 (952) and I still have today's EOV graph -

And as bad of a night's sleep I had, the variation isn't too shabby!

They released an update yesterday - 3.20.1, but it still hasn’t fixed the EOV with my Charge 4 on iOS.

I have not seen an update available for samsung android and charge 4 yet.
Did you receive notification? Still no spo2 reading or even the tile
Best Answer

I’m on iOS, so it just appeared in the App Store. It hasn’t fixed the EOV disappearing though.

Same here, and it’s really annoying as that was one of my favorites that I check every morning.
