When checking the dashboard, it shows 8300 steps - but when I go in further and check the hourly detail, it shows 10,300 steps - why the difference? And why won’t it resync itself?

I'm very sorry to hear that your step count is not showing up correctly on your dashboard. I'd like to help you out with this.

Are you by any chance logging any activities manually that could be causing this to happen? If you're not logging any activities manually and it's just your tracker syncing, I'd recommend logging out of the Fitbit app and then, log back in and see if this makes any difference.
