Hi, Im sure this has been posted before but im having no luck with a fix.

I have trouble with the above as app is now showing calories and not Steps.

I have tried on the Iphone, dashboard, Goals etc and trying to change but its still showing calories.

I have also tried logging in online but with no joy. I was advised over twitter to try online but still cannot do it, please can anyone help?

UPDATE:

Ive even now found the fitness and motion, turned that on and reset the phone but when i try to add the iphone still, it brings me to the same green screen, roll eyes!

UPDATE 2:

@Carol-B, this is what i did ! It took forever!

I went to privacy under iPhone and scrolled down, selected fitness and motion.

I then did a phone reboot.

Went into Fitbit app, set up new device, scrolled down and selected mobile track with the iphone icon.

Then it asked for permission to access motion and fitness and hey presto!

Hi @Alan.palmer. Let’s take this one step at a time. If I understand correctly, when you open the IOS app, the opening screen does not show steps. There are a couple things to try but please try this first before I offer other suggestions.

At the opening screen of the IOS app, tap Edit at the bottom. You should see the Steps box. If it has a +at the top, left ... tap it to add that to your screen. Tap Done and let me know if that brings your steps to the front screen.

Hello again, @Alan.palmer. Thanks for the additional information and the screen shot. Very helpful.  I also sync to an iPhone so we should be sing the same thing. But here is another suggestion:

Tap the little box at the top, right of your screen.

That will take you into Account. Select your Fitbit devise and scroll down to Main Goal. Make sure Steps is selected. Back out of that screen and sync your device. Hopefully this will resolve your problem.

My apologies, @Alan.palmer. I incorrectly assumed you had a Fitbit device. It is possible to tract steps using a feature called Mobile Track. I am not familiar with it but you can tap here to see details in the Help pages. If this does not answer your questions, contact Support. Please let me know how it goes. I’m curious.
